First Celebrity With Swine Flu

Magic can't get rid of this bug Ron! Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is the first celebrity to be infected with Swine Flu. Rupert Grint, 20, caught the Swine Flu while filming the last installment of Harry Potter. Grint took a few days off from filming, and is said to have made it past the "contagious stage" His rep says in a statement. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards."

If I was Daniel or Emma, I would want to see FULL DOCTOR REPORTS before I film again..the Swine is something not even the greatest wizards can get rid of. HaHa...I'm kidding...wait? NO I'M NOT!?!

Hip Hop Loses A Friend: VIBE Closing

While staffers at VIBE were working hard on the Michael Jackson tribute; they were told the company had folded. The way things are going in print-media, this unfortunate event was foreseen.(Learned that in my intro-to-Journalism course) There are reports that Quincy Jones, who started VIBE in 93', has plans on buying it back, in hopes to have VIBE run online only.

Guess we will see where that goes...what do you think of the last issue? The Dream and Christina Milian. I'm kinda skeptical

Michael Jackson: Public Says Final Good Byes

A lucky 17,500 Michael fans will be able to say their final farewell to the pop king this Tuesday at the Staples Center in L.A. Although 17,500 tickets were given to the public, Jackson has millions of fans! Officials are concerned and realizing they may not have enough security; or funds to handle this massive event.

The LAPD is encouraging fans to stay home and watch the memorial live.

Note from Jeanae.....

I'm still heartbroken over Michael Jackson's death. I'm sitting at my home listening to his song Human Nature. IDK I just don't want to believe he's dead. The night before he died me and my cousin were performing thriller in front of Baskin Robbins. (lol of all places) OMG "Rock With You" just came on!! I love Michael! No matter what negative crap people come up with...Michael was still an AMAZING PERFORMER! There will NEVER be another Michael. What other artist receives back to back coverage nine days after their death?? Ask yourself that.

People want to believe he is a pedophile, but NOBODY KNOWS what happened, or if ANYTHING happened. WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE? AS HUMAN BEINGS? THE WORST SINNERS OF ALL? As a Christian I believe one sin doesn't outshine another. Because a sin is a sin to God. However this isn't about religion. Its about a legend who has died. Our job at this point is focus on what this man has accomplished in his short 50 years of life. People did nothing but dog Michael while he was living...atleast let him REST IN PEACE!

I love you Michael! I'm sad you had to leave us, but your legacy lives on.
